Client Profile:

  • Severe workplace stress and depression

JP-S was on her second long-term work absence due to severe stress and depression. She reported being overworked on a project beyond her expertise, for which she received no support from her workplace. The resulting stress led to low motivation, suicidal thoughts and anxiety about returning to work. JP-S sought help to let go of past events, improve her coping skills at work, find contentment and take control of her future.

  • Boundary setting
  • Self-care
  • Future work direction

Outcome:

JP-S went from feeling hopeless to having a positive outlook on her future and abilities. Her motivation and self-esteem improved, and she was more confident and assertive. Thanks to the VRC support, JP-S was able to return to work, utilising the tools and techniques provided, including updating her CV and participating in job searches.
