The BUSY Group is dedicated to providing a holistic and inclusive education that addresses the diverse needs of young people. Our strategy encompasses a range of initiatives, from alternative provision to innovative educational projects designed to engage, support, and prepare students for their future. Our approach is rooted in a trauma-informed, therapeutic framework, ensuring all programmes under our umbrella align with our ethos to foster an inclusive culture.
The BUSY School launched in Australia in 2020 to give senior high school students an opportunity to engage and complete their education while undertaking a mix of academic and vocational training in a nurturing environment.
Students complete an individualised educational programme, learn skills for life and work, and have the opportunity to start paid employment and training while still in full-time education.
Many young people who struggled with traditional education have gone onto further education and employment thanks to an innovative programme delivered by The BUSY Group.
With outstanding results, 85% of our 2023 graduates that attended The BUSY School across nine different campuses have progressed to further education, vocational training or employment.
Our team takes the time to provide individual support to students who would otherwise find the traditional schooling system challenging. By embedding trauma-informed principles into our approach, we ensure that each student receives the care and understanding they need to thrive.
Rhys Morris, Managing Director at The BUSY Group UK said:
“I’m truly proud of what we’ve achieved with our BUSY School in Australia. During my recent visit, I was deeply moved by the dedication and warmth our staff and students displayed. Seeing the transformative effects of our programmes firsthand has strengthened my resolve to adapt this successful model for the UK. This approach shows us that with the right support, every young person can thrive. Together, we’re not just educating. We’re nurturing resilient, capable, and future-ready individuals.”
