Education

Educate. Empower. Employ

The BUSY Group has supported approximately 100,000 young people through management of government scholarship and education programs and our alternative senior high school offering, The BUSY School.

Re-engaging and empowering young people through individualized education, skill development and meaningful pathways to employment or further study.

The BUSY School is a not-for-profit school offering young people an alternative to mainstream education. Our focus is on re-engaging students who have struggled in traditional settings by providing individualized attention, a supportive environment, and real pathways to employment or further study.

Founded in 2020, we offer a fresh approach to learning that caters to individual needs and supports young people’s social, educational and employment goals.

The BUSY School is part of The BUSY Group, a leading provider of skills, education and employment services since 1977. With ten campuses across Australia and New Zealand, we offer a supportive environment where students can re-engage with learning and prepare for a successful future.

For every student that walks through our doors, we provide a supportive and practical environment that focuses on their unique potential. Smaller class sizes, individual learning plans and access to industry certifications mean students receive the tailored attention and opportunities they need to thrive.

Our no-cost model, wrap-around support services, and dedicated educators create a nurturing space where young people can develop confidence, achieve their goals, and unlock new possibilities. By addressing educational disadvantage and providing pathways to success, The BUSY School helps young people step into a career with purpose and pride.

Every student matters, every step counts, and every goal achieved creates ripples of positive change. Together, we’re creating futures – through individual student outcomes that positively impact the individual, their families, communities, and society at large.

Experienced Scholarship and Education Program Management

Contracted by government, The BUSY Group is experienced in administering national programs that support young people through educational subsidies and scholarship support.

The BUSY Group has years of experience administering scholarship and educational subsidy programs and we are successful in ensuring these opportunities are well-promoted and capacity placements are fulfilled.

Helping Students Succeed

The BUSY School offers an alternative for young senior high school students who have disengaged or who are at risk of disengaging from their education.

Our education and learning model is rooted in a trauma-informed, therapeutic approach. It has been developed to foster an inclusive culture that is designed to ensure that no-one is left behind and has successfully supported 85% of our students to graduate and progress into employment or further career pathways.

Who we’re for

The BUSY School is for young people (Year 11 and 12), who feel out of place in traditional schooling environments. It's for students who may have faced life challenges, lost motivation or need extra support to reengage with their education. We're here for those who benefit from a more supportive environment, individualised attention, and pathways that align with their individual strengths and aspirations.

Why?

When young people overcome the challenges of disengagement from education, the ripple effects are life-changing. It's not just about completing school—it's about creating opportunities for individuals to unlock their potential, build confidence, and step into a career with purpose. By focusing on each student's unique journey, the impact extends beyond the classroom to families, communities and broader society.
